NEWSMOVES / THE PUBLICATION

Editorial Standards.

A working framework for accurate, clear, and accountable reporting.

Development draft

This page describes proposed editorial standards for review before publication. The current article collection is sample material, not journalism. Final editorial procedures and responsible personnel have not yet been configured.

Verification and sourcing

Published reporting should distinguish verified facts, attributed statements, analysis, and opinion. Sources should be identified wherever possible, with links to primary records and an explanation when information remains uncertain.

Accuracy, fairness, and context

Reporting should be checked for accuracy, supply relevant context, and provide a fair opportunity to respond when appropriate. Headlines and photographs should accurately reflect the substance of the story.

Disclosure and separation

Opinion, analysis, sponsored content, affiliate relationships, and material conflicts should be identified visibly. Advertising should be clearly labeled and distinguishable from editorial reporting.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly and transparently. The Corrections Policy describes the intended process; a verified corrections channel will be added before editorial launch.
